Robert Darling

ROBERT DARLING, from Keuka Park, New York, has authored four collections of poems, Boundaries and The Craftsman’s Praise (Somers Rocks press, 1997), Breaking the Silence (Foot Hills Press, 2001) and So Far (Pivot Press, 2003). In 2000, his A.D. Hope: A Critical Biography, was published in the Twayne Series. Winner of the Nathan Haskell Dole Prize in Poetry, the Mozart Bicentennial Award for Poetry and the Charles B. Dickson Prize for Poetry, Darling has published poems, reviews and essays in dozens of periodicals. He teaches classical literature, and in his poetry classes gives students instruction on traditional forms, meters and rhyme.
