Richard Thomas Scott

Richard is a contemporary classical painter, writer and designer of coins and medals for the United States Mint. He has worked for Jeff Koons, and as studio assistant to Odd Nerdrum. Scott’s paintings have been exhibited across Europe and North America, notably at the National Arts Club in New York City, Le Grand Palais in Paris, Palazzo Cini in Venice and, forthcoming in Spring 2015, the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona (MEAM). His work is in private and public collections, including those of former British arts minister Alan Howarth and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Sicily (MACS). He was selected as one of “25 Artists of Tomorrow” by American Artist magazine. Scott is a contributing author to The Nerdrum School, published by Arvinius + Orfeus (May, 2014).
