Alison Armstrong has published short fiction, poetry, scholarly reviews, essays, a literary cookbook and a volume in the Cornell series Manuscripts of W.B. Yeats. Founding co-editor of the James Joyce Broadsheet (UK) and a contributing editor to the Irish Literary Supplement, she is also a painter. She has developed courses on aesthetics and the history of color theory at the New School and now teaches at the School of Visual Arts. She received an NEH/W.B. Yeats Summer Institute grant for 2008.
